About me

My name is Pauline Deakin and I am a qualified, BACP registered therapist, trained at Regent's College London. I work in South West London and also offer online and phone appointments.

I offer person-centred therapy in a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space, so you can talk through anything on your mind. I am particularly skilled in working with bereavement and loss of any kind.

Update: safely providing therapy to you

We are living in difficult times and you may be feeling particularly isolated or anxious. In order to continue providing therapy in a safe and secure way I am currently only offering online or telephone counselling sessions. I have found this to be a very effective way of working as you can speak to me from your own home, along with allowing more flexibility for the hours I can offer.

I offer a reduced rate for those on lower incomes, so please let me know if this would be helpful for you.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about how we might work together, I  would be happy to arrange a free 15 minute telephone consultation. Please get in touch by email or text to arrange a convenient time to talk.

Safe and supportive

Seeking help from a therapist can sometimes feel daunting – but counselling doesn’t need to be scary.

I work in a relaxed and supportive way, helping you feel more comfortable and able to express your thoughts and feelings openly.

As a qualified integrative counsellor, I am trained to provide all therapy styles, tailoring my approach to suit your needs.

I can also share simple mindfulness techniques with you which you might find helpful.
